Atonra Partners receives the authorisation from FINMA to act as a fund manager.

[Geneva, 3 October 2019]:
AtonRâ Partners, a leading portfolio management firm specialized in innovation and technology, is pleased to announce that it has received the authorisation from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA to act as an asset manager under the Swiss Collective Investment Schemes Act CISA.

This licence marks another key step in the development and the institutionalisation of the firm and puts AtonRâ Partners on a globally recognised regulatory playing field.

As an asset manager of collective investment schemes, AtonRâ Partners is authorised by FINMA to manage and distribute investment funds and will continue to provide investment advice to its institutional clients.

AtonRâ Partners will soon launch a UCITS fund under EU and Luxembourg laws. The UCITS fund will gather the top positions of each of AtonRâ Partners’ thematic portfolios to complement its product offering of actively managed certificates. The firm is also about to act as the asset manager of a Swiss fund promoted by Schwyz-based bank Tellco AG.

AtonRâ Partners will continue to develop its innovative approach to investment based on thoughtful research, driven by portfolio managers and engineers working together.

The Board of Directors of AtonRâ Partners has been strengthened with the appointment in March 2019 of three non-executive Board members: Jean-Sylvain Perrig (Chairman), Sandy Koifman (Vice-Chairman) and Jonas Richiardi. They seat alongside with Stefano Rodella and bring significant and complementary expertise in the asset management and scientific areas.

Stefano Rodella, CEO of AtonRâ Partners, comments:
This is a key step for our clients and investors. This regulatory authorisation materializes our dedication and our professional work, and is a major milestone for AtonRâ Partners. I would like to thank, above all, our team and our partners who made this breakthrough possible.
